Snow is moving in. We have been getting reports of snow from Jasper and west. Storm Vision HD is showing moderate pockets of snow.
I have been looking at some of the reports around the St. Louis Metro area and most places are ranging from 1-2.5". I think this will be the trend as it moves into our area. With the warmer air pushing to the north, I still think it will help in keeping this system heathy enough.
I'm comfortable with this forecast. In the around 1" area, it is very well possible of a 1-2" strip. It's something to watch very carefully. The snow may come down very hard at times so USE CAUTION!!!!!
Short range computer models are showing heavier pockets of snow. This will be the case later tonight with the heavier bands that do setup. This particular model is showing some places getting 4" of snow. I do not agree with this but, some places may get a tick more than two inches.
