A SLIGHT RISK of severe storms is in place for tomorrow for the far northeastern portions of the area. Damaging winds and large hail look to be the primary threats.
I think an MCS could form just to our north late tonight into tomorrow morning and begin moving southeast. Depending on where the warm front will be located, areas around Madison and east could be impacted by this. Below is a look at the computer model bringing this activity in tomorrow afternoon. This particular model has the system moving through the entire area but truthfully, I think it will be a bit more to the north and east.
Temperatures will be warm tomorrow, sun will be in place and this will help fuel the shower and thunderstorm activity. I will update tomorrow morning on the latest chances of severe.
