Say it ain't SNOW!

Interesting data coming in this evening on the storm system moving in Wednesday. I will explain in the post below

Above is the velocity model. This shows the disturbance moving over our area during the day on Wednesday. It's interesting that the latest data is now showing a better support of snow showers. We may see lines or squalls of snow showers, which some may be heavier at than others.

The models have also increased the precipitation for the area as well. This will help raise our precipitation chances.

What's Chris think?

I think some locations could see a 1/2" of snow but most places will see around a dusting on the grassy surfaces. I think roads will stay wet as road temperatures will be above freezing for this event. It's something that we will continue to monitor over the coming days.
